An Intimate Afternoon Wedding in Ashburn Ontario

So normally the bride is the one that is constantly told: Enjoy the day - it goes by SO fast! Well my friends, that was true for me this time - the photographer :) Lauren & Steve’s wedding day started with an intimate first look in the beautiful gardens at Royal Ashburn Golf Club followed by their family portraits before their ceremony. I love that couples take advantage of the time before their ceremony to get these photos done because everyone’s makeup and hair is fresh. It can also get a bit stressful trying to organize everyone after the ceremony because guests tend to flock to cocktail hour without realizing they need to be in photos. Thankfully, this family was so well organized. The whole day was scheduled flawlessly which makes my job so much easier! 

This wonderful wedding included one of the most adorable, well-behaved flower girls I've EVER had the pleasure of photographing!

I can’t stress how a well-organized wedding day filters into your guests’ experience. When you are able to go out for perfectly timed sunset photos and still have time to dance the night away and say thank-you to everyone that came to celebrate with you - it makes the day seem effortless. And who wouldn’t want a wedding day feeling like that?!? I can’t say enough about how much I loved capturing Lauren and Steve’s intimate wedding. I hope to capture many more memories for them in the future!
